Build on Workspaces

Build apps, integration connectors and workflow nodes for every team that runs on Burdenoff Workspaces. Registering is free, and you do not need to be a Workspaces customer to start.

What you can build

Apps and API integrations

Register an app, get OAuth clients and API keys, receive signed webhooks and call the federated GraphQL API.

Integration connectors

Publish an API-key connector so any Workspaces customer can connect your service from the integrations catalog.

Workflow nodes

Package a custom node, validate and test it in the devportal, and ship it to the workflow builder.

Workflow templates

Share a reusable automation that teams can install and adapt.

From sign-up to a submitted app

  1. Create a free account

Sign up and confirm your email. The confirmation link brings you back to sign in, and signing in takes you straight to the developer portal.

  2. Create your developer organization

The setup wizard creates your developer profile and the organization that owns your apps, after you accept the Developer Agreement.

  3. Register your first app

Choose an API integration, a workflow node or a workflow template, and describe what it does.

  4. Submit it for review

Your app's page walks you through what reviewers need: a full description and icon, Public or Unlisted visibility, a first version (the uploaded package for nodes and templates) and pricing. Then submit it; it is not listed until a reviewer approves it and you publish it.

Who can register

  • A Burdenoff account with a verified email address. Any plan works, including Free; you do not need to be a paying Workspaces customer.
  • You have reached the age of majority where you live, or you register on behalf of a company and have the authority to bind it.
  • You accept the Marketplace & Developer Agreement and the Acceptable Use Policy for everything you build and submit.
  • You are not barred from receiving software or services under applicable export-control or sanctions laws.
  • Every submission is reviewed before it is listed. Free and private apps need nothing more; paid listings also need publisher verification (legal details, tax and payouts) before they go live.
