Status: Published v1.1 — effective 2026-10-24. Reviewed against the production platform and approved for publication by the founder (India jurisdiction); outside-counsel review checkpoints are tracked in TC-LEGAL-REG. Provider: Timecampus Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Timecampus") Applies to: every Customer that uses the TimeCampus billable projects, client invoices or client portal features, or connects a third-party integration. These Terms supplement the MSA (TC-LEGAL-001) or, for self-serve users, the Terms of Service, and are subject to the AUP (TC-LEGAL-005).
Version 1.0 of this document was drafted for a marketplace model — a venue where clients and service providers met, funded milestones into a processor-held balance and received payouts net of a platform fee. TimeCampus does not operate that model, and version 1.1 replaces it in full. TimeCampus is time-intelligence software: it helps a Customer record its own billable work and bill its own clients. It does not introduce clients, hold or move money, or take a commission.
Part A — Billable projects and client invoices
A.1 What the feature does. Customer can mark projects and time entries as billable, set billable rates, and generate invoices that summarise billable time and line items for a period. Customer can record an invoice as draft, sent or paid.
A.2 Customer is the supplier and the invoicing party. Every invoice generated in TimeCampus is Customer's own document, issued in Customer's name to Customer's client for Customer's services. Customer is solely responsible for its content and accuracy — rates, quantities, currency, tax rate and tax treatment, invoice numbering and any statutory particulars (for example a GSTIN, HSN/SAC code or e-invoicing reference where Indian law requires one).
A.3 No payment handling. Customer's clients pay Customer directly, by whatever means Customer and its client agree. Timecampus does not collect, hold, escrow, settle, convert or pay out any amount due under a Customer invoice; it does not act as a payment aggregator, payment intermediary, marketplace or e-commerce operator for those supplies; and it charges no commission or transaction fee on them. Marking an invoice as paid is a bookkeeping status entered by Customer and is not a confirmation by Timecampus that payment was received.
A.4 Taxes. Because Timecampus does not collect consideration on Customer's behalf, it does not collect TCS under Section 52 of the CGST Act, 2017 or deduct TDS under Section 194-O of the Income-tax Act, 1961 on Customer's client invoices. Customer is responsible for all taxes on the supplies it invoices, and for any withholding its clients apply.
A.5 Not a party to the engagement. The contract for services is between Customer and its client. Timecampus is not the employer, agent, guarantor or counterparty of either and is not responsible for the quality, delivery, pricing or payment of the work. Customer is responsible for correctly classifying any contractors whose time it tracks and bills, and for the tax, social-security and labour obligations that follow.
Part B — Client portals
B.1 What the feature does. Customer can create a client portal for a client and share it through an unguessable link. A portal gives read-only access to the projects, time and invoice information Customer chooses to expose for that client. No client account or password is needed.
B.2 Customer controls disclosure. Customer decides what each portal shows and who receives its link, and is responsible for having a lawful basis to disclose any personal data it contains (for example the names and hours of the people who worked on a project). Customer should not include special-category data or information about individuals beyond what the client needs.
B.3 Link security. Anyone who holds a portal link can view that portal. Customer must share links only with the intended client, and must deactivate a portal (which immediately disables its link) when the engagement ends or if a link is exposed. Timecampus is not responsible for disclosure caused by a link Customer shared or failed to deactivate.
B.4 Client data. The client's own details that Customer stores (name, contact email, address) are Customer Data processed by Timecampus as processor under the DPA (TC-LEGAL-003).
Part C — Third-party integrations
C.1 Where Customer connects the Service to a third-party system (calendar, email, chat, code editor or browser source, accounting or payroll system, expense system, project-tracking tool, identity provider, or a payment processor Customer engages directly), that third party's terms and privacy policy apply to Customer's use of the third-party service. Timecampus is not a party to those terms.
C.2 Timecampus does not warrant any third-party service and is not responsible for it beyond operating the integration interface.
C.3 Customer is responsible for the security, authorisation scopes, credentials and data shared with third-party services, and for the lawful basis to sync team data into or out of TimeCampus.
C.4 Integration providers that process Customer Data on Timecampus's behalf (rather than under Customer's own contract) are listed in DPA Annex 3 (TC-LEGAL-003C) before they are enabled.
Part D — Compliance, AUP, governing law
All billable-projects, client-portal and integration activity is subject to the AUP. These features must not be used for fraud, falsified time or invoices, money laundering, or any unlawful labour practice. Indian law governs; disputes between Customer and Timecampus follow the MSA (Chennai-seated arbitration; Chennai courts) or, for self-serve users, the Terms of Service §16. Disputes between Customer and its clients are between those parties.
