Workspace Tag Verification

Verify the complete assignment list before editing workspace tags.

These images are illustrations of the concept, not screenshots of the actual product.

Overview

This Workspaces concept illustrates a settings decision: whether the complete list of workspace tags is available before someone edits it. Two cards sit beside each other under Workspace tags, within a simple Settings view. The subtitle asks the person to verify the complete list before editing. The comparison focuses on how incomplete information should affect the next available action, rather than presenting a missing label as an empty assignment list.

The left card is titled Some tag details unavailable. It retains a sample Operations pill beside a neutral Details unavailable pill. An amber message says that existing assignments are preserved, followed by a sentence explaining that editing is paused until the full list is verified. Edit tags appears disabled, while Retry read is the single emphasized action. The design makes the unavailable detail visible instead of silently hiding the second item. The sample labels describe the illustration and do not represent a real workspace.

The right card is titled Complete list verified. It shows Operations and Priority as ordinary pills, with a separate Edit tags button. Supporting text asks the person to review the complete list before making a change. The card does not show a saved result, a removal action or an automatic transition from retry to editing. The two cards represent distinct information states rather than an assurance that a retry always succeeds.

A footer explains the interaction rule: retry reads, while editing requires a verified complete list. This concept is designed to help members recognize a temporary information gap and to help workspace administrators discuss safe recovery without confusing it with a configuration change. It keeps the focus on visible assignments, the availability of their details and a deliberate editing choice.

Verify the Complete List Before Editing

The concept pauses editing when details are unavailable and separates Retry read from Edit tags.

The illustration shows two Workspace tags settings cards beneath a Workspaces header and Settings navigation. On the left, Some tag details unavailable appears above an Operations pill and an outlined Details unavailable pill. An amber message says existing assignments are preserved. Supporting text explains that editing is paused, and a disabled Edit tags button sits beside an emphasized Retry read button. On the right, Complete list verified appears above Operations and Priority pills, an instruction to review the complete list and an Edit tags button. The footer explains that retry reads and editing requires a verified complete list. The labels are illustrative; neither card shows a completed write or a real account.
